DN815224 Lift Consultant - Project Manager

London Borough of Hackney is a Member of the Fusion 21 Members Consortium. This is a Direct Award for Cundalls from the established Fusion 21 Lifts Framework - Lot 5 Lift Consultancy.

The term of the contract will be for up to a 12 month period. It is anticipated that the contract will commence in September 2026.

The London Borough of Hackney is delivering a comprehensive Lift Modernisation Programme across its housing portfolio, comprising the replacement, refurbishment and upgrade of lift systems within occupied residential buildings. These works are critical to maintaining safe, reliable and accessible homes, particularly for residents who rely on lifts for day-to-day mobility.

The Council seeks to appoint a Lift Consultant to provide Project Management and Clerk of Works services to support the effective delivery of this Lift Modernisation programme, over a 12 month period. The Consultant's role is not limited to coordination, but extends to the provision of active oversight, independent assurance and quality control across all stages of delivery.

This commission is intended to ensure that works are delivered in a controlled and consistent manner, that risks are identified and managed proactively, and that the completed installations meet the Council's required standards in terms of safety, quality, compliance and resident experience. The Consultant shall act at all times in the interests of the Council, maintaining clear visibility of programme status, performance and emerging risks.
