## Description

East Sussex County Council \(ESCC\) have recently undertaken an employee engagement programme, the results of which have driven a focus on improving and building upon the existing process by which employees can access needs-based assessments and associated recommendations for adjustments, as appropriate\. The key areas of focus are as follows: Improved support routes for workplace adjustment provisions including neurodiversity, physical adaptations, sensory, mental health and long-term illness\. Equipment and software recommendations made that can be supported by our IT&D service\. Meaningful management information to track progress of cases and requests\. We aspire to create a smooth pathway for managers and employees to access assessments and associated support through a timely and seamless process\.
