## Description

The Science Museum plans to open its exhibition called Zimingzhong Clockwork Treasures from China's Forbidden City on 1 February 2024\. This is a temporary exhibition that will run until June 2024\. We are seeking a supplier for the production, installation, and deinstallation of all exhibition graphics for Zimingzhong\. For this special exhibition the Science Museum will borrow 23 remarkable clocks from The Palace Museum in Beijing\. Produced in Britain and China in the 1700s these remarkable horological treasures contain clocks, automata and music boxes\. Called Zimingzhong - bells that ring themselves - they tell a fascinating story about a meeting of technologies, people, cultures and skills\. The Zimingzhong are supported by a small selection of SMG objects, local loans, mechanical interactives and films\.
