## Description

1\. Newcastle-under-Lyme Borough Council \(NuLBC\) is currently preparing its new Local Plan\. Work on the Local Plan commenced in January 2021 and to date has included public consultation on Issues & Strategic Options in late 2021 / early 2022 and the First Draft Local Plan in July / August 2023\. 2\. The NuLBC First Draft Local Plan \(2023\) contained a suite of policies and proposed allocations as part of the consultation document\. 3\. A suitably qualified and experienced heritage consultant is required to prepare heritage impact assessment for a number of emerging sites in the Council's Local Plan\. This will include liaison at key stages with Staffordshire County Council and Historic England at key stages, including agreement of a methodology for undertaking the work\.
