Description
The existing steel gates at the Household Waste and Recycling Centre in Stourbridge have sustained significant wear and corrosion due to heavy machinery and pedestrian activities, compromising their structural integrity. The gates, including steel partitions, shelves, and protection nets, are in need of replacement. The proposed work involves the removal of the corroded gates and steel components, repairs to the concrete foundations, and the installation of new steel gates and sections, ensuring they meet original design specifications. Additionally, new galvanized steel protection meshes and replacement steel shelves will be installed to enhance safety for the public and ensure the proper functioning of the gates.
