Description
This notice is to confirm the award of contract for Explosives Detection Dogs (EDD) Kit 20 - Drop Test Kits via the C16828 EDD Training Aids Framework - Lot 1 The purpose of the Drop Test is to demonstrate that a complete dog-training kit containing explosive material can withstand the impacts likely to occur during handling and transport without the packaging opening, failing, or releasing its contents. DfT are responsible for wider aviation security therefore these drop tests enables improved aviation security outcomes by providing better assurance that screening processes can detect explosive traces or odours effectively.
