## Description

Procurement of Ion Chromatography \(IC\) Instrument\. Ion chromatography is the separation and detection of ions - a fundamental ice-core analytical technique\. IC analysis is a part of our National Capability services for the analysis of ice core and snow samples from the polar regions\. This instrument will have two analytical systems - one for negatively charged anions, and one for positively charged cations\. The two systems will be fed from an autosampler \(an already owned asset\), which allows the simultaneous high-resolution analysis of anions and cations of ice core samples\. Additional information: This procurement is a direct award \(Ranked\) using APUC framework LAB1029 AP Lot 1 Mass Spectrometers\.
