Arts and Sports Bridge - Pre-Construction Works

This is a contract award notice for the appointment of Balfour Beatty to carry out pre-contraction works on the University's Arts and Sports Bridges. Both bridges span an open railway line and as such a specialist, experienced contractor is required to manage the initial works and to plan the sequencing of any future main works in respect of the bridges.

The contractor was appointed via the single contractor SCAPE Civil Engineering and Infrastructure Framework. The programme is 8 months.
