## Description

National Highways are about to conclude the research phase of the RIS setting process with the Strategic Road Network Initial Report \(SRNIR\) expected to be published for consultation in Autumn 2022\. The SRN IR is designed to shape the RIS by gathering and analysing a wide range of evidence\. The aim of which is to understand the current state of the network and the emerging challenges & priorities\.
