This post offers an exciting opportunity to work within a fast-paced environment at the heart of Defra's delivery portfolio by providing executive support to the Portfolio Director leading delivery and the project profession across the department\. The Diary Manager \(DM\) to the Portfolio Director for Defra Group is a key role to their Private Office\. This is a challenging and demanding role, but also a rewarding one\. Reporting to the Private Secretary to the Director, this busy post in a high-profile area will see you manage the day-to-day activities of the Portfolio Director, helping to shape their agenda and support them to deliver their job as effectively as possible\. You need to be a self-starter who will take the initiative, in addition to demonstrating good decision making, personal integrity and operate in a confidential manner, often to tight deadlines\.
