Washington District Heating Replacement Scheme

Description

Within the Oxclose, Albany and Fatfield areas of Washington, Tyne and Wear, 1,020 properties are currently heated via a "District Heating Scheme". This district heating scheme comprises of a number of boiler houses within various locations, the boiler houses each contain a number of boilers which provide heating to each of the 1,020 properties via underground pipework. A strategic decision has been made by Gentoo to remove this district heating network and install a new boiler within each of the 1,020 properties.
