Porterage Services

GLD is looking for a comprehensive porterage service for their offices known as OKS. One Kemble Street (OKS) has 15 floors, an external car park, a goods-in area and a basement. There are 4 lifts in the building, 2 of which provides access to the basement. There are no service lifts and all deliveries have to be taken to the basement via the staff lifts.

The basement is used for storage of cleaning and stationery consumables and the archival litigation files. These files relate to cases that are being currently worked on by our lawyers; many of these are being recalled on a daily basis.

The Service Desk and porters core working hours are between 09.00hrs -17.00hrs Monday to Friday, with 1 porter starting at 08.30hrs.

The porters might be required to work between 08.00hrs-18.00hrs on an ad hoc basis; Occasional weekend work might also be required.
