WISERR WP1

The purpose of this work package is to develop an incremental Strategic Transport Investment Plan (STIP) and Programme Business Case (PBC) to support strategic transport improvements necessary for the East Midlands Freeport and other growth opportunities in East Midlands, with a particular focus on nearer term and more secure opportunities. It is envisaged that WP1 will be delivered via the following tasks: - Task 1: Strategic context and develop an Outline Strategic Case - Task 2: Develop Strategic Transport Investment Plan - Task 3: Develop Programme Level Business Case, to include: - Task 3a: Enhanced Strategic Case - Task 3b: Economic Narrative - Task 3c: Options to Finance - Task 3d: Mechanisms to accelerate delivery.
