The Provision of Lead Architectural Design and Consultancy Services and Principal Designer -Stages 1-7 - for the delivery of the Rawtenstall Market

Rossendale Borough Council (RBC) has been successful in its grant bid submission to the DLUHC for a Capital Regeneration Project funding.

The Rossendale Capital Regeneration Scheme encompasses a number of projects, but split into two categories. The Rossendale Town Centres including the demolition and redevelopment of a new market facility and Union Street public realm in Bacup, and the refurbishment and development alterations of the Rawtenstall Market as the projects main priority. Subsequently and depending on the budget, there is the refurbishment of a Skills and Employability Hub 'The Bridge', and work to improve the connectivity and public realm environment of Rawtenstall.

This tender is to cover the Architectural Design and Consultancy services and Principal Designer role from RIBA Stages 1 to 7 for the redevelopment/refurbishment of the Rawtenstall Market only. Further details and background of the scheme can be reviewed in the tender documents.
