ITT for Catering Services to Bushmead Primary School, St Neots, Cambridgeshire

This ITT is to provide school meals to Bushmead Primary School, St. Neots, Cambs. The school provides primary education to 309 pupils and employs approx. 50 full and p/t staff. This contract is for an initial period of 3 years with an option of not exceeding a further 2yrs. The school is looking for a caterer who cares about the freshly prepared and cooked food that they serve and will make every effort to engage with the children and staff to achieve the objectives of the school. The school would like the caterer to maximise upon the meal uptake of children and staff. The current caterer also provides a "transported hot boxed meal service" to another small school averaging 50 pupil meals per day

Additional information: Caterers must have experience of providing catering services to primary schools. A strong local management support and the ability to provide local purchasing is important, as is the ability to engage and develop the menus and provision together with the school and interested consumers.
