5-061 Area 10 Technical Specialist Procurement Support - M&R

Highways England's Asset Delivery (AD) teams are seeking to appoint a technical consultant for the provision of specialist procurement support for a range of AD contracts, and to support the Procurement teams with the implementation of the procurement process for these contracts. Specialist procurement support is critical to ensure the successful delivery of a range of strategic AD contracts with support required in the development and implementation of the Asset Delivery model. Without the necessary support, there is a significant risk that the contracts will not be awarded in time to meet the tender programmes which would lead to a delay in the delivery of maintenance and renewals programmes. There is no further capacity to extend the existing arrangements.
