Work description
The agency is looking to purchase a QPCR machine which has a 96 well plate format, it must be able to run 20 ul and 50 ul reaction volumes. It must have 5 colour filters for multiplexing an LED light source. The equipment must be self-diagnostics for identifying faults and able to be networked to the institutes IT system. The equipment must have a footprint no deeper than 54cm to fit onto a bench. It must also have an integrated touchscreen, the ability to store data from a few runs and allow use of researcher defined reagents and thermoprofiles and protocol editing. The machine must also allow analysis of data by Second Derivative Max and Fit Points method and be compliant for audit trail of data for 17025. The machine must be windows 10 compatible and have software available for data analysis in the office. We may need an additional 8 software licenses so the cost of these must be competitive. We would require a service/repair agreement that DOES NOT involve having to send the machine off site for repair or service. The budget is £25,000 (Inc VAT). As stated under ITT_4370, the Agency is buying a second qPCR machine.
