This tender was for the appointment of a main contractor, on behalf of Newcastle Science Central LLP, for the Learning & Teaching Building. The appointment has been made on the two-stage basis, with only the PCSA fee agreed to date. Total cost has been estimated at £29.1m but the construction cost will only be known at the end of the second stage. Only the PCSA fee has been agreed to date.
