Work description
The Council invites quotations for the provision of Private Rented Access Scheme Ex-Offenders.
This specification is for a Private rented Access Scheme for ex-offenders, including registered sex offenders, of all genders over the age of 18, and assessed as ready to take on an Assured Shorthold Tenancy. The provider will deliver resettlement and tenancy sustainment support for 12 months after the start of the tenancy. The contract is for a short term service and will be funded on a per placement basis.
Other functions include support for clients to maintain their tenancy or move on and settle in their new home, resettlement support after moving on, support to help clients with their budgeting, debt advice and claiming benefits, signpost clients to local services e.g. housing agencies, specialist support, education, training and employment and to prevent clients from re offending.
The duration of the contract is 6 months, subject to the right of The Council (at its sole discretion) to exercise its right to extend the Contract for a further 12 months.
