Description
This project aims to provide the rail industry with consistent quantitative guidelines on shift pattern design and example 'good practice' rosters that can be used as templates or incorporated into educational materials to support fatigue risk management. It sets out to do this by providing definitions and roster examples that are supported by research evidence or by biomathematical modelling using societally accepted thresholds. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
