Description
Highways England wishes to undertake a research project to provide an updated methodology in assessing journey quality impacts arising from road schemes and reduce the uncertainty around these benefits. The key aims of this proposed research are to: - Further develop our understanding of journey quality, especially as they relate to walking and cycling. - Develop cycling and walking 'Level of Service' metrics which can be utilised in further enhancement of the Highways England Appraisal Manual; and - Where possible,
