Description
In order to succeed Brent's town centres must adapt to the unprecedented changes, in particular the significant growth in Omni channel shopping and changes to how people spend their leisure time. The Retail and Leisure Needs Study will form part of the Brent Local Plan evidence base, and assist in identifying and shaping the future role of Brent's seventeen town centres and also shopping parades. It is acknowledged the role of town centres is diversifying, and they have an important employment and housing function. The Study will therefore need to take account of these trend and synergies with the Brent Employment Land Demand Study and Strategic Housing Market Assessment. In doing so, consultants are invited to respond to and cost for the approach adopted in this brief.
