## Description

A service to support unpaid and informal carers in St Helens\. The contract is jointly commissioned by St Helens Council and NHS Integrated Care Board \(ICB\) in the St Helens 'place'\. The contract duration is 1st October 2024 to 30th September 2029, with an option to extend for a two further 12-month periods to 30th September 2031\. The service provider will be responsible for delivering some statutory duties towards carers, namely the provision of formal Carers Assessments, on behalf of the Council, alongside informal support for local carers\. The service will support adult carers, young carers and parent carers\. In addition, the provider will work collaboratively with other groups and organisations to promote equality of access for disadvantaged / marginalised communities and individuals
