## Description

The Essex County Council \(ECC\) eDBS Service currently processes Disclosure & Barring Service \(DBS\) checks for internal staff, and also provides the service to External Customer Organisations across the UK\. ECC is seeking to replace its current service provision with a service that will include a wider range of pre-employment checks\. For further information please see the specification available on the portal\. Potential suppliers must be licensed to carry out eDBS checks\.
