Work description
The provision of training in Systemic practice forms part of the unique offer made to Social Workers working in Gateshead. It is envisaged that all Social Workers within Children's Services Referral and Assessment and Safeguarding and Care Planning Teams will be trained in Systemic Practice for Safeguarding Children.
The supplier will be expected to provide a facilitator to be onsite, or working on course development for 46 days over the initial 12 month period. Specific days/ dates will be agreed between Gateshead Council and the Provider to ensure consistency of training, and maximise availability of employees.
The facilitator/tutor must be available to provide a variety of sessions including, but not limited to training sessions, workshop sessions and bespoke support to Social Workers and Children and Families Workers throughout Gateshead Council.
