Town Centre Uses and Retail Study

Description

London Borough of Hackney (The Council) is commissioning a Town Centre Uses and Retail study that will provide an updated town centre uses and retail evidence base for the London Borough of Hackney.\r This is required to obtain a full and accurate understanding of existing supply/ future demand of retail floorspace and whether Hackney's policy approach (and designations) are still fit for purpose, form supporting evidence for area-based plans, support any future Article 4 Directions, assess how the Class E changes may impact on the council's ability to plan for retail floorspace and feed into the early stages of a review of the Council's Local Plan planning policies on retail and town centre uses.
