Supply of Temporary Agency Workers

Description

Newcastle under Lyme Borough Council's Operational Services Directorate requires the use of temporary workers for a variety of positions and duration of engagement, to ensure the efficient delivery of front line services, and in particular the areas of :- Recycling and Waste Collections and Transfer Station operations,- Streetscene Services,- Street Cleansing & Grounds Maintenance, and- Garage Workshop.These assignments contribute to the Council delivering its strategic objectives, ensure the Council continues to deliver its services and provides robust mechanisms in terms of the ability of managers to procure and engage agency workers in an efficient and controlled manner.The council on completion of a tendering exercise will set up a Framework agreement with a number of successful employment businesses for the provision of Temporary Agency Workers
