DHLUC_Funding Planning Application Backlog Support

Description

The Cornwall Council Development Management Team (the DM Team) has requested Town Planning support from Arcadis to address a backlog of major planning applications that have exceeded the target timescales for determination. Arcadis has been given a list of 105 planning applications, some of which have Extension of Time (EoT) agreements. The support provided by Arcadis will assist DM Case Officers in processing the backlog, coordinating technical/statutory feedback, identifying key issues, and aiding in determining the outstanding submissions. The goal is to clear or significantly reduce the backlog from March to September 2024.
