Description

The Council has procured 22 Library RFID Solutions to replace the existing self-service kiosks which are now out of date and repeatedly failing to function. The contracted supplier will be required to supply, install, support, and maintain equipment for customer self-service terminals using RFID technologies and provide on-going support and management services associated with the up-keep of both the kiosks and software. The Council conducted this procurement using a further competition procedure via the ESPO Framework (350_19 Library Solutions and Systems), under Lot 1a (Library RFID Solutions). There were five suppliers on the framework under Lot 1A, all of which were invited to tender; Bibliotheca, D-Tech International Ltd, Good With Devices Ltd, Lyngsoe Systems Oy and SB Electronic Systems Ltd.
