Work description
Provision of a Marina Management System at the Port of Ramsgate to meet the needs of the service, including the commissioning and ongoing maintenance of the system for a 4 year period (with option to extend year on year at the discretion of the council). The council envisages that the software solution is developed, tried and tested, accepting a need, as may be necessary to make some changes to meet the Council's requirement. The Council requires a solution that can be developed to achieve two phases of implementation. This particular procurement is for the progression of Phase 1, as per detail given below. However, details of a second Phase are provided, as any software solution provided for Phase 1 must have the capability/functionality to accommodate Phase 2 requirement should the Council decide to do so in the future. Phase 1
The first phase will be as a system for the Maritime Services section up to the point of needing to produce an invoice and therefore interface with the council's current financial systems. It would be beneficial if the system could produce a quote.
Phase 2 (for information) Development capability required as part of Phase 1. Any future second phase would be to undertake the two way interfacing with the financial systems used by the council. A more detailed specification on this interface would be provided at a time should the council be in a position to take this option forward.
