Housing Benefits - WURTI processing

Description

The wider use of real time information (WURTI) initiative has meant that additional processing of claims is required. In conjunction with the claims which are being processed using the Capita Resilience Service, these claims can be processed by Capita. By allowing this, vacant posts do not require to be filled. Significant funding for new burdens has been received from central government under the umbrella of "welfare reform". A proportion of this was not spent in 2016/17 which forms part of the £670k surplus which the partnership currently holds.
