Work description

The Oxfordshire County Council is seeking to award a new service contract for a 5-19 School Health Nursing Service from the 1st April 2019 that is based on the Department of Health's Healthy Child Programme and Public Health England's commissioning guidance using the 4-5-6 model. The service will provide public health services in educational settings - primary schools, secondary schools and colleges of further education as well as delivering the national child measurement programme in primary schools. The service will deliver public health promotion classroom sessions, whole school sessions, drop-ins and targeted 1:1 support to promote the health and wellbeing of children and young people .

In addition, the Council also wishes to commission a centralised Public Health Promotion Resources Service to provide a centralised library of evidence based public health promotion resources which will be made available to a range of organisations working with all age groups across Oxfordshire
