Lewisham invites tender for Weight Managment services\. Obesity is a growing problem in all regions of the UK and for both adults and children and as the prevalence of obesity in England increases, it has become a major public health concern due to its association with serious chronic diseases and related morbidly and mortality\. Obesity is the consequence of interplay between a wide variety of variables and determinants related to individual biology, eating behaviours and physical activity, set within a social, cultural and environmental landscape\.
