PHE_Scientific Provision for purchase of MiSeq Paltforms for Genomic expansion

PHE has awarded a contract to Illumina Cambridge Ltd under the PHE Microbiology Framework Lot-2 for the provision of purchase of MiniSeq sequencing Platforms in aim to provide large scale and rapid SARS-CoV-2 sequencing capacity to the four UK Public Health Agencies (PHA's), local NHS centres and the UK government at pace for genomic expansion.

The initial order is for one MiniSeq , additional equipment can be purchased provided that the total value of the contract is no more than GBP172,824.00 ex VAT. It is a PHE wide one year contract.
