Quantity Surveyor-Backlog Maintenance

Description

The Trust does not have an internal team of Quantity Surveyors or Cost Managers to support the individual projects which make up the Backlog Programme therefore, these services are currently procured on a project-by-project basis. This procurement is a coordinated and efficient approach to commission the services of a Quantity Surveyor over a 5-year contract, which should deliver the following benefits: • Pricing efficiencies across our consultant appointments. • An accelerated route to market for cost consultancy services. • Greater cost assurance across the total backlog portfolio. • Consistency of our commercial reporting and management of backlog. • Long term alignment with our suppliers, enabling collaboration & innovation. • Reduced points of contract, administration and risk exposure.
