## Description

Blackpool Council and NHS Blackpool jointly commission a Community Equipment Service for Adults and Children across Blackpool, which is administered by Blackpool Equipment Service \(BES\)\. Clinical services are provided by Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Nursing Services and Trusted Assessors\. The provision of equipment is jointly funded by the Council and NHS Blackpool\. Each year, Blackpool Equipment Service purchases a wide range of equipment totalling around 1\.2 million pounds\. Blackpool Council and Blackpool Clinical Commissioning Group \(BCCG\) are seeking to appoint a Supplier/s to supply the following assistive equipment lots\. Lot 1 - Hire of Hoists and Slings - a single supplier to provide a range of hoists and slings Lot 2 - Hire of Children's Beds - a single supplier to provide a range of Children's beds and accessories Servicing and maintenance of equipment is included in the scope of each lot\.
