DWP Auditor

Description

Since 2018, the Council has been required by the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) to employ the services of an Independent Auditor who are qualified accountants and are registered with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales (ICAEW) as public auditors to fulfil the role of Reporting Accountant for the assurance of Housing Benefit subsidy. The supplier will perform the specific test requirement in accordance with the scope of work set out in the Department Work Pension's (DWP) Housing Benefit Assurance Process (HBAP) reporting framework instruction and on completion of these specific test requirements will report their findings.
