https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/homes-england-contracts-and-tenders\r \r Purpose and Objectives of the this study\r \r Given changing political priorities and policy towards regeneration and levelling up, there is a need identify opportunity growth areas throughout England and to diversify the thematic and geographical scope of our Strategic Growth team's work. \r \r The purpose of this study is to therefore identify, develop and assess a long list of broad geographically focused opportunity areas that have placemaking prospects, economic growth, social bene-fit and environmental enhancement that without strategic intervention risks not being delivered. Given the early stage remit of the Strategic Development & Infrastructure Team, we are interested in looking at opportunities beyond the Local Plan stage, to influence future policy direction.
