Q034 - The Procurement of a Client Project Manager for the Re-Development of the Octagon Theatre

The Borough Council of Bolton (“the Authority”) and The Octagon Theatre Bolton (“the Theatre”) is prepared to receive tenders for The Procurement of Client Project Manager ("CPM") for the Re-Development of the Octagon Theatre which will be subject to the information, specification and tender package enclosed. The Authority and the Theatre will be collectively referenced as (“the Client”)

The Theatre opened in 1967 and although there have been various extensions and refurbishments since then, the building is no longer fit for purpose. The purpose of the CPM role is to facilitate the progress of the re-development project and to act as the interface between the Client side and the Contractor side, ensuring that the Client’s needs are fully met in the Project’s design and delivery.
