Chichester District Council - Coastal Maintenance and Emergency Repair Services

Description

Chichester District Council currently maintains its coastal defence structures on a primarily reactive basis but is seeking to move towards a more programmed approach. The majority of structures are nearing the end of their design life and are unlikely to be replaced by capital schemes within the term. Any replacement work and major repairs will fall outside the scope of this contract. The Council appoint a suitably qualified, experienced Contractor to carry out minor repairs and extend the life of groynes, seawalls and associated facilities as far as economically viable.
