GB-Norwich: Simpson Centre Refurbishment V2

Refurbishment work. The scope of works shall provide refurbishment of the Simpson Centre hall at Kelling Hospital. The works will include the: •removal of internal structural walls and partition walls; •provision of new structural support; •removal of existing engineering services; •reinstatement of engineering services and new engineering services, as an open plan office area, with breakout rooms; •redecoration of the open plan hall; and •the commissioning of all modifications and modified services, including any new services. The engineering services will include, small power, lighting, fire alarm system, door entry systems, data comms and telephony, heating and ventilation. The building services will include the removal of structural wall, the provision of structural supports, the removal of floor coverings, the supply and fixing of carpet tiles, painting and decorating of the finished areas.

Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
