Work description
The overarching aim of this project is to produce robust data on the quantify of different solid fuel types being burnt in domestic settings in the UK using Defra's CAS data. This aim is broken down into the following objectives: 1. Use data from the CAS to develop a robust approach to quantify the volume of different solid fuels burnt in the UK, along with other key statistics (described below). This will involve scaling the data up to a national level. Page 7 of 37 Version 2.0 LIT 58468 2. Ensure data is quality assured, which will include engagement with our Project Steering Group; 'The Domestic Combustion Research Projects Steering Group'. 3. Produce outputs that Defra can publish and can be utilised by stakeholders.
