## Description

The 'New Forest Higher Level Stewardship' \(HLS\) is England's largest agri-environment scheme designed to restore and enhance the internationally-important habitats in the New Forest\. Habitat restoration work in HLS scheme areas is being undertaken by Forestry England to maintain them in good condition, which is necessary to manage the Special Area of Conservation \(SAC\)\.
