Independent Academic Advisor for RIIO-GD2

Description

The RIIO GD team are seeking to appoint an academic adviser to support us as we develop our approach to RIIO-GD2 cost assessment. The independent academic advisor should have - strong econometric and benchmarking skills, - experience applying these skills to help determine (or challenge) price control allowances of regulated companies, - proven ability to provide training and guidance / mentoring of individuals in these areas, - ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly and simply, and - (ideally) familiarity with the RIIO framework. The precise scope of work will develop as our work does and is likely to be no more than 10 days work over 5 months.
