CONTRACT FOR THE DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT AND MAINTENANCE OF DATA AND VOICE NETWORK TECHNOLOGIES

Gateshead Council IT Services currently has a contract with Virgin Media for support and maintenance of the Council's Voice and Data networks. The services provided through this contract include support and maintenance of voice and data networking hardware and software to various service levels, supply and implementation of new technology, project management services and ad-hoc specialist technical support and advice. The current contract has one 12 month extension remaining with the final contract end date being the 30th September 2018. This process is to complete an open OJEU procedure to appoint a provider to continue the delivery of support and maintenance services to support the Council's Network with effect from 1st October 2018.
