Wigan Assistant Project Officer

This Contract exists to provide a sustainable future for Wigan's wetlands and broader landscape, building on local pride and a sense of place that will deliver multiple social, economic and environmental benefits for our communities. The Supplier will in particular contribute to the collective achievement of realising the primary objectives of the Greenheart Vision which is to: • Support habitats and biodiversity of regional and national importance, including wetlands, waterways and woodlands • Provide activities and leisure facilities for local residents and visitors to enjoy • Help to provide economic benefits to the local community through training and employment opportunities • Create sustainable communities where people can live healthier lives and sites are protected for future generations
