Provision of Enforcement and Debt Colelction Service (Bailiffs)

Description

Cheshire East Council (CEC) intends to maximise the collection of debts through the effective use of all available recovery options, to ensure a high quality and efficient enforcement service is provided. This Specification describes the service required and the standards expected from the Service Provider providing enforcement and collection services in respect of: • Council Tax • Non Domestic Rates • Sundry Debts - to include overpaid Housing Benefit and Commercial Rent arrears • Parking Penalty Charge Notice debts Additional information: This will be a service concession contract and the potential contract value will be in the region of £4.8m for the 4 year period and this value will include the amount for both the primary and secondary provider - however this value is not guaranteed.
