Consultancy Services for Children's Transformation Support

BCP Council is commissioning external capacity and expertise to support the Director of Children's Services to undertake a significant transformation programme. This programme is in line with the ambitions and vision for the future set out in the BCP 'Big Plan', and the strategic priority to enable Brighter Futures for children and young people, working to ensure that the BCP city region becomes one of the best places in which children can live, learn and grow up, with life opportunities.

The scope of the services will be to undertake a baseline review of the quality, impact, and effectiveness of BCPs children's services against recognised best practice, utilising findings from statutory inspections. To design and establish a Children's Transformation Programme, in line with the Brighter Futures corporate priority and the vision and ambitions set out in the BCP Big Plan. And to undertake the implementation phase against Transformation Programme and the key priorities.

The delivery of services will be split into three stages of work. These three stages of work are Baseline Review, Designing the Transformation Programme and Implementation of the Transformation Programme.
