Enabling Works at Orchard Way Edginswell

Description

The enabling works are the first phase of a wider development that will be split into five segments, one of which will be a retail unit for which we are currently seeking planning permission. \r \r The existing site slopes from south west to north east and consists of areas of grass, undergrowth and spoil from neighbouring developments. The levels range from circa 54m to 36m, producing a level change in the order of 18m. \r \r The enabling works will seek to improve these levels to provide more suitable plateaus for future development. The south west boundary currently has a belt of trees and scrub. Additional information: This procedure was a Further Competition from the Council's Standing List of Contractors for Highways and Marine Engineering Schemes - Lot 1 Highways Schemes published on www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk and open only to members of the above Standing List.
