PHE_Scientific - Cellular Metabolic Profiling System

Public Health England (PHE) has awarded a contract for a Cellular Metabolic Profiling System. The system allows for accurate measurements of cellular metabolism e.g. measure oxygen consumption rate (OCR) and extracellular acidification rate (ECAR) of live cells in a multi-well plate and interrogating key cellular functions as an indicator of normal cell and tissue function.

This will provide increased capacity to assess hazard potential of environmental exposure which is currently being investigated within current and future projects.
